Bowie was relinquished to a high kill shelter and picked up by White Diamond Rescue due to severe injuries to his front leg. He had nerve damage and disfigurement that was nonrepairable, so amputation was the best choice for him. As he heals from his surgery, he’s proving to be a sweet and affectionate boy who will make someone a wonderful companion.
