    New 'Leash' on Life

Referred by: Camp Bow Wow Concord

Truly, 1-year-old Golden Retriever, was surrendered by a breeder to a rescue group because she had ectopic ureters causing her to leak. She had one procedure done as a young pup but it unfortunately did not fix the issue.

It was recommended that her new parents wait until she was a year old to perform a second, and different procedure. The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation grant was able to help Truly’s family pay for all the veterinary bills, and give Truly a normal life with her new fur-ever family!

“When we found out we were accepted for the grant, my husband and I cried. We were so happy to know we would be able to afford Truly's surgery.” - Lizanne, Truly's mom.

Big thanks to Camp Bow Wow Concord for referring Truly to the Foundation!
