Rex was adopted as a puppy, and after his fur-ever parents adopted him they found out he has liver disease. This disease is making him weak and unintentionally caused him to break one of his legs. Rex is very much loved by his family and with all the other expenses involved with the liver disease, they need some extra help to fix his broken leg. The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation grant provided support for plates to be surgically implanted and post-surgery therapy. Rex is expected to fully recover from his broken leg!
