Maximus
Happy and Healthy Again!
Maximus, a 7-year-old Rottweiler, was adopted by his mom when he was approximately
three years old. Upon his adoption, Maximus tested positive for Lyme disease
and giardia. Additionally, he had to have a large mass removed and be
treated for a chronic ear infection. Despite Maximus’ rough start,
he and his mom developed a close, loving relationship and he lived as
a happy healthy pup until recently when he was found to have a cruciate
tear in his right knee. Maximus’ grant helped cover the costs associated
with the surgery to fix his knee.
“I was relieved and elated to know that the financial burden I was facing had been lifted. Having Maximus is medicine to my soul and he deserves the best life possible. I am pleased that the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation was able to help Maximus and I continue our journey together!” - Bobbi Lynn Peters (Maximus’ mom)
