Sometimes 3 legs are better than 4!

Care for by: West Park Animal Hospital Referred by: Camp Bow Wow Website

Fletcher came to Mutts in a Rut Rescue after he was found wondering the streets by himself. It was quickly discovered that this adorable stray was suffering from a fractured femur. In fact, the fracture had been there for some time and it was determined that the best possible treatment for Fletcher would be an amputation. The Bow Wow Buddies grant Fletcher received helped cover the costs associated with his surgery and recovery. Now the happy 1 year old gets around on 3 legs just fine and the best part is, Fletcher found his fur-ever home!

"Thank you so much for Fletcher's grant. As a result of the generosity of the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation, Fletcher was able to receive the amputation he so deserately needed and now has a much-improved quality of life as a tripod!" - Anna Merriman (Mutts in a Rut Rescue)
