Clover is a sweet girl who had a rough start to life. She was found as a stray and then placed in a foster home. Soon after Marisa (Clover’s mom) started fostering Clover, she realized she couldn’t live without her and decided to adopt! Marisa has had Clover for the past 5 years, and unfortunately Clover recently tore her CCL (Cranial Cruciate Ligament) in her knee. Clover’s grant helped cover the costs of her CCL surgery, post-surgery treatment, and physical therapy.

Marisa, Clover’s mom, says: “I was incredibly overwhelmed when I found out I was approved for the grant. Seeing her in pain everyday was hard knowing I didn't have the finances to help her. I told my mom that I had been approved [for the grant] and she immediately started crying.”
