Ace
Jumping Back into Action
Ace, a 7-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, is an energetic, fun-loving pup
who unfortunately tore his ACL while romping with some furry friends.
His fur-sister, Seven, also tore both of her ACLs prior to Ace’s
injuries. Ace is a strong competitor in dog agility earning multiple first
and second place awards. The grant Ace and his family received will help
him return to competing in agility and romping with his sister and friends
in between competitions!
“My savings were exhausted as Ace’s sister has had 3 surgeries in 1 year. With no help, Ace’s surgery would have been put off till next year. Delay would have increased his recovery time, and increased his risk for further damage. I was ecstatic to learn he would be able to have his surgery right away. I am forever grateful to the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation.” - Julie, Ace's mom.
